Sometimes it’s avoiding small interactions, because the potential awkwardness feels like too much to bear. Sometimes it’s finally having the space to do what matters to you, and instead you scroll endlessly or busy yourself with everything but that thing that truly lights you up.

So you push through. Or you wait. You “try harder.” And all the while, your body quietly resists. That resistance, that inner tension and friction is exactly where your not self patterns live.

But here’s the cool thing: these patterns aren’t random. It’s simply how your body has learned to protect itself. They’re habits and behaviours you picked up to survive. But there comes a point where they’re the exact thing that keeps you stuck.

How I’ll Help You Move Through Your Friction Points

The Friction Within is structured around the spiralic process of Embodied Deconditioning. It’s where Human Design knowledge becomes embodied through your nervous system awareness, body-based practices and honest self-reflection. The aim is not to eliminate the not self but to bring awareness to the ways you might be going against yourself and choose differently.

Recognise the Patterns

First, we uncover where you’re subtly working againts yourself. We explore the patterns and behaviours that can be easy to miss because they’ve become your norm. We’ll reflect on how they show up in your actual day-to-day moments.

Discern What’s Yours

Once we know what your patterns and behaviours are, we’ll start to distinguish between your body’s signals and conditioned reactions. This is the slow process of unlearning what’s not yours.

Return to Yourself

This is the part of the journey where you start to respond differently through small, grounded shifts. It’s where the insights become embodied.

  • No. This isn’t about explaining your chart or walking you through your design. This is a reflection space focused on your lived experience — using your chart to highlight where you may be working against yourself.

  • You’ll send a short voice note (or written message) sharing a situation, pattern, or moment you’re currently in. The more real and specific you are, the deeper the reflection will be.

  • Anything that feels like friction. Overthinking a decision. Second-guessing yourself. Feeling stuck, avoidant, or unsure what’s actually right for you. If you’re experiencing it, then it’s relevant.

  • Each depth has a clear scope. If you bring something that needs more space than your chosen path allows, I’ll let you know — and you’ll have the option to upgrade.

    • Quick Reflection: within 24–48 hours

    • Deep Dive: across one day (back-and-forth)

    • Immersion: ongoing across 5 agreed-upon days

    This is a slow space that focuses on quality over quantity.

  • Only within the 5-day Immersion tier. The lower tiers are intentionally contained to keep the reflections focused and clean. Quality over quantity.

  • This work isn’t about forcing change. Rather, these reflections are about witnessing and recognition.
